During my time at Douglas College, I have learned my skills in Web Design throughout a number of assignments, using many of the major website providers. Starting out with WordPress, and making my first, crude website felt so accomplishing! Since then, I have gotten comfortable with the quality of life features offered by Wix, Squarespace, and Canva, forgetting about WordSpace.
Now, making a crude website doesn’t quite bring the same sense of accomplishment it once did. However, as I am bashing my head against their UX, I am catching glimpses of new features that feel useful. The spotlight edit feature for example, could help me focus on a piece of writing without distractions.
